Is there anyway to get a draw string back in my shorts?

It's fallen out completely and I would really like to get it back in.

Anybody ever been successful with this?

Put a safety pin on the end of the string, feed it through the hole and work it around the waist with your fingers until you can push it out the other side.

Another vote for safety pin. Done it on half of DH's stuff.

safety pin for sure. It may take a bit but you can do it. I usually sit in front of the TV and work on it.

And use a second safety pin to pin the end that is still outside the shorts to the shorts so you don't accidentally pull that end through too.

Also, knot both ends so it doesn't happen again after you get it through!
