It's pronounced 'wa-ZELL'. It's French for bird.

They are doing some amazing things for pro women runners, I think. I love how outspoken Lauren F is and Sally (the founder) and I hope that since Kara is now freed from Nike, she'll do the same.

I was following this story on Twitter a little bit yesterday - what an amazing story and I'm so happy for her.

Has anyone tried anything in the Oiselle line yet? I've had my eye on a couple things but haven't ordered yet. Would love a review from an H&F member!

I have the Oiselle Origami Tank I linked the other day, it's amazing and light weight and super flattering. I have the Roga shorts, but they kinda ride up on me. I think if you don't have wonderthighs like myself, you'd be OK. I know lots of bloggers that love them. 

Overall I'm a fan of the brand in general and will support them when I can.

Medium, they're stuff can run on the smaller side. I usually wear a 6-8 top and have 36C chest, if that helps.

I would love to hear some reviews on their shorts too. I want to try on, but I don't know if any close retailers that carry their stuff.

I think I deserve new shorts for this season of races. I run in Nike tempos a lot and have rather lanky legs. Almost nothing rides up on me, but I want more pockets than the tempo has.

I rarely spend this much $$ on shorts, but I'm thinking the Roga or even the short Roga....

I love the Roga and Game Day short. The game day fit me TTS, but the Roga I will size up on next time. They fit enough for me to wear on outside runs or around the house, but I'm a tad self conscious to wear them to the gym or to races. I love the fabric. So light and quick drying.

I love Kara. She's so awesome. I'm glad she's back in Colorado, too. I hope she runs some local races.

I LOVE the Roga shorts. Love love love. Sadly, mine don't fit right now, but when they do, I wear them a ton.

Maybe ?--I follow her on Twitter and it seemed like she was shopping sponsors after her child was born. She posted something about wanting an ethical company--nothing like LLL...we disagreed on whether or not Nike was an ethical company lol.

It seems like Kara was pretty honest about loving the feel, encouragement, and small atmosphere of Oiselle. Nike certainly would have re-signed her, and it sounds like she had lots of other options as well.

It's cool that in the world of sports where the biggest $$ contract is always where people go, Kara looked for something else. She also talked about wanting to run as a master once her true pro days are over, and I gather Oiselle would be more willing to see her through that than Nike.

Dude, he's flipped the lid.  And has yet to learn it all gets reported these days thanks to social media.

And speaking of social media, I think a lot of runners are not leaning towards the, if I'm personable and cute and pretty good and really, really, really active on social media, I don't have to always come out at the top of the performance chart. 

What's your feeling on why she's making this move?  Do you think it's good or bad?  And how is Des doing in Kenya - I'm so excited to watch her.
