I ruined her plans, but she loves it and highly recommends it.

It's such a fun place. There's a decent amount of crowd support. The few miles you run along the ocean are absolutely freakin' amazing. I'm hoping to do it again this year (we stay with family and I have to make sure that we're welcome, since last year the baby cried all.night.long.)

That is my favorite half by a landslide. Really pretty course, rolling hills, and pretty well organized. Newport is not crowded at that time of year, but most things are still open. I am so sad I don't live in RI anymore!

I did it last year and really enjoyed it! I did the whole Triple Crown and this was my favorite of the three!! I would definitely recommend it - the part by the ocean, windy as it may be, is absolutely amazing!
