Mine: We are leaving for Cabo on Sunday. We haven't packed and have to clean the house (in-laws are coming to watch the kids), get groceries and everything else in order for the kids. I am supposed to do 10 miles tomorrow. The high is 23 with 20mph wind, and would only be about 12 degrees when I would run. I really don't have time to do the run, nor do I want to do it in that weather. My 1/2 is on 5/4 and I ran 9 miles 2 weeks ago. Will four 9+ mile long runs be enough? I know logically it will, but I am so OCD about following my training plan. Uggh.

I'd skip it guilt-free. You've got plenty of miles and plenty of time before the race. That sounds miserable and it's clearly stressing you. Let this one go.
My FWP: I couldn't decide what lipstick I wanted to buy last night, so I bought 4 and spent like $50. Whoops.
Good timing for this post- I just called myself out this morning for complaining about this FWP:
My remote car starter battery died, so I couldn't warm up my car before getting in and driving the 5 miles to my job. "Worst" part about it is that my seat heater wasn't warmed up before I hopped in. Wah.
And...it's over 40 today, so it's not even really cold.
I'm sitting here holding a sleeping baby pondering what my workout should be today. Since its Friday there no evening classes for me to go to when my husband gets home. Yesterday was a rest day. Tomorrow I'm going to spin and circuit training - which is burpees, running, wall balls etc.
It's frustrating to get going on the treadmill and then have to stop 10 minutes in when the baby wakes up.

Sub nail polish for lipstick and you have me in Ulta last night.
breezy8407 - skip the run!! Honestly, I think sometimes we're better off by doing every-other-week long runs a few times. I really think I've read that every 10-12 days would be best for really long runs, but that doesn't jive w/ most people's weekends.
Get your stuff done & enjoy your vacation. Don't forget to leave room for me in your suitcase !

Getting ten minutes in is better than nothing but I understand your frustration.

I'm so sick of 1) stressing over how to make time to work out and 2) feeling like I need to be productive every minute of every day.
My coach wants me to maintain 20 miles per week until my new plan starts July 1. I just want to veg for a bit. I may ignore her, run about 15 miles per week (plus swimming and biking) and then build up to 20 during the month of June.
My shoulder is all messed up again - it's got to be a lift I'm doing...I think it's pec decks or something rotational - so I went for a massage, and it didn't really help. Waaaah!

I had to order $50 worth of stuff from Sephora to get my free birthday gift and my 5 free samples and my free makeup bag shipped to me, and I didn't have enough in GCs that were given to me to cover the whole cost of what I actually bought so I had to pay $7 OOP.

I remember those days. I just did 10 minutes every time she "napped". They weren't the best workouts I ever did, but they were something. ETA: Totally just stalked your blog. That baby girl is ADORABLE! Enjoy every single second. I promise, the working out gets easier.
total FWP...We have an amazing brand new gym which offers classes, massages, and personal training at my office and two sets of locker rooms. There is no community hair dryer in the locker rooms closest to my desk so i have to blow dry the sweat out of my hair in the other locker rooms or go buy a blow dryer for my locker room.
