Sonofabitch! Not that I would have noticed they were missing, b/c our DirecTV has SUCKED BALLS since we had storms a couple of weeks ago and I haven't been able to use half my channels anyways. I need to call and have them take a look at the satellite.

I'm so pissed about this. First we lost Sprout when we upgraded our package, not sure how that worked out, but thanks.
and now no Nick Jr. I only have about 20 minutes in the morning where she'll sit and watch t.v. so I can finish getting ready. She's not into Disney yet and this morning was a collossal clusterfuck.
I'm so sick of big corporations pulling this kind of bullshit on their paying customers. I went through this a few years ago with Cablevision cutting Food Network. At the time, my kids were in a HUGE Food Network phase LOL I had to record the Rachael Ray talk show on ABC and pretend that it was Food Network lol. They also cut off ABC one time right before the fucking Oscars. I was so PISSED. Sorry you are dealing with this. Can you get some of the programming on Nickjr.com?

Wait, WHUT??? I knew nothing about this. I have Directv and we had Nick Jr last night... My kid is going to throw the most ungodly of tantrums if she doesn't get to watch her Dora and Gabba tonight... Uggh....
OMG, you should have heard her when the power went out a couple weeks ago! "Mom, fix it! It's broken, Mom, make it work! Why it's not working? Where's iCarly? Can we watch a movie?"
I am so pissed about this, it includes VH1 Classic too. So many damn channels. With what everyone pays for TV these days, this crap gets old really fast. :@
The entire list includes Nick, Nick Jr, MTV, VH1, BET, CMT, TV Land, Comedy Central, Spike, and the spin-off channels of all of those.
And apparently, this is on their website (DH sent it to me): “Programmers like Viacom typically won’t allow anyone to buy their channels individually, but we hope to change that,” DirecTV said in its statement on Tuesday morning. “We currently pay them hundreds of millions of dollars every year already, and if Viacom thinks their networks are worth a billion more, then you have to be able to select what’s most important in your own living room. It’s your money, so you should be able to decide.”
I think Directv and Viacom are in some legal dispute because Directv refused to raise their prices. I bet they will come to an agreement once Viacom realizes how many viewers they just lost today ($$$).

I don't have kids so I came into this post all "that sucks maybe amazon streaming can help poor jermys out" then I realized there is no MTV, that is when shit got real. How the fuck am I supposed to watch Amber's crazy decline and Farrah's ridiculousness without MTV!!
