I have a quarter marathon tomorrow, I've never raced that distance so yay for an instant PR. It will be about 40 degrees around race time, so another yay. My calf has been a little tight, but I have my travel stick with me today so I should be good.

I am.
A 10-miler I was supposed to run in February was rescheduled for this Sunday. I feel great, but I haven't run since my half this past Sunday. I'll do a couple miles tomorrow. I should be able to PR, since I've only run a 10-miler once before and it was my first double-digit run.
Gorgeous here today. Supposed to be 50 degrees and rainy during the race. Maybe it will get cancelled again (the greenway tends to flood easily).
My first half is Sunday and I'm feeling great. I haven't even looked at the weather, is that weird? Already picked up my personalized bib (they choose numbers that combine birth month/date/age, etc.) and I love my number
yep-our neighborhood 5k. i'm nervous, i have a chance to place this year in the stroller division. i placed 4th last year behind 3 guys, i want my first medal, damn it!!
Good luck ladies! Hope you all have great race days. I'm getting sooo antsy to be able to post that I'm racing. 4 more weeks until my 1/2 and 7 until the marathon....

I have a 5k tomorrow. I'm not sure how it will go, though. I finally caved and went to the doctor yesterday after my boss basically ordered me to, I have a sinus infection and bronchitis. She told me I CAN do the 5k, but to take it easy in the meantime and I have an inhaler just in case. So...yeah. I'm not anticipating that it will go particularly well, I'm guessing I will walk a majority of it and I'm sure I won't PR, but I'm still planning on going. I want my medal!
I have a HM tomorrow. I kind of keep forgetting about it. I dont feel prepared even thouhhgh im halfway through marathon training. Uts a hilly course, it wont go well, i have no goal.
I sort if need tio get my act togetget and think about what to wear and.figure out what time i need to leave my house lol

I'm doing a half in San Antonio on Sunday. It should be wonderfully disastrous since I have totally slacked on running since the marathon. I'm going for the weekend with my mom, sister, and DD1, so it's a fun weekend...not trying to set any records. Just going to enjoy it and save enough energy for walking a lot and eating my way through the city that afternoon
I am running a half tomorrow. My mom and I were driving the course and stopped cause we got turned around and someone hit us, so now we are waiting for the police to show up
I am doing an Olympic Tri on Sunday and I'm kind of meh about it because my husband will be in another state preparing to interview for his dream job on Monday morning. I feel like our whole life is kind of up in the air right now and I really am having a hard time focusing on the race!
We are a fine, hopefully we won't be sore in the morning. The damage to my mom's car was minor, if I was the one driving I totally would have offered her $$ to avoid having to go through insurance.
I have my first 10k this morning. I am nervous and not prepared. The weather is a nice 40 degrees though! I get super hot when I run no matter what the temperature is though, so I know I will be roasting about halfway through.
I am doing a half on Sunday. I haven't done much training so I am hoping 3 weeks off my marathon, I still have something in my legs. It was a last minute thing. Weather is 50 degrees at the start but 100% humidity and 40% chance of rain by 9:00am. I hope I get to finish before any rain starts.

I did that 4m I ask about earlier in the week. I went out slow in the beginning which was too slow in hindsight, but I'll know for next time. Chip time was 54:32 and I wanted to finish under an hour so I'm happy.
My toes are sore now which isn't something I've felt before, but it's also the furthest I've ever run.
