My 10-miler was today. It was painful. I hadn't run since my half last Sunday, but we went for a 4 mile hike yesterday. My legs were thrashed. My pace was slower than my half, but I shaved 7 minutes off my previous 10-mile time, so I'm happy with the PR.
Another PR for me, 28:28 with the stroller... super hilly course. This is our 3rd year doing this race, it's nice because it's a mile from our house!
I placed 4th in the stroller division, which was disappointing, but once again I was the 1st female in the division. If I would've run in my age group, I would've gotten 2nd. My quest to place in a race continues...
I was crazy congested and ran a hilly 10k in 53:36. I managed the race super poorly -- I ended up walking 3 times -- but I guess I don't feel too bad about the overall time. It's only 50 seconds slower than my PR, and that was on a flat course.
ETA WOAH! It was actually 12 seconds faster! okay now I feel pretty good about it
I ran relatively hilly quarter marathon as part of the 14 miles I had planned yesterday. My time was decent, 9:24 pace. The last half mile was uphill, wtf? My running buddies and I decided we need to go run out there over the summer, it will be good training for sure.
