I ran the Jackson Half Marathon this morning and finished in 1:51:03. This was a super small race so I was able to win my first (and probably only) half marathon age group award. I ran this race cause it gave me something to do in the super small town where my parents live.

Like I said it was a small race, but I'm super excited about a half award.

runaways - I love small 5ks cause I don't really need the crowd support and like getting an age group award. Around here there are several smaller races every weekend. For a half or full it is nice to have more crowd support.

kams - get out of my head:p. I'm hoping if I don't run 9 miles a few days before my next half I can get under 1:50!!
