I'm super grumpy (AF showed early, which is disappointing b/c I thought we nailed the timing this cycle but whatever), have a cough, gunk in my nose and throat, is 23 degrees, and I overate yesterday so I feel fat and awful and want to just crawl under a rock.
But if you aren't feeling well and have a cough, (and it's only 23 degrees out) I think you should rest.
I'm supposed to do 9. I'm considering going to the gym and doing 5 on the treadmill instead, then lifting a bit. Next Sunday's forecast for 10 miles is 52 and sunny which sounds much nicer.

Yuck. We were lucky yesterday because it was in the 50's and sunny (unfortunately, also windy) for our long run. It is supposed to be back in the 30's all week.
So go to the gym! You'll sweat it out and feel better!

Go for a few miles and see how you feel at that point. I just went and did 3 hilly miles and its cold and windy here. You might feel better after you sweat it out a bit.
I feel the same way. I have a dull headache and am heading out for my long run now.
What did you end up doing?
9 done, the last one sucked because I intelligently decided to not fuel at 6 because I felt fine. Whoops.
How'd you do?
I ran 11 miles. I took 1 Excedrin and my dull headache went away by mile 2. I feel pretty good now and am glad I did the run. I agree with you, everyone here is so motivating!
