It won't charge either. It's dead. Has this happened to anyone else before and they've managed to save it somehow? It worked perfectly yesterday and then I went to turn it on this afternoon and nothing.

Hard reset is what you need to try next, it will involve holding down a few of the buttons for 10-30 seconds and then it will reboot (in theory). Google your model number + hard reset. Fingers crossed!

It was a little over a year old when it bit the dust and wouldn't even come back after a hard reset.
