jess I did it in 36:59. As I said, from looking at some other times I thought 28 was a good goal, but holy crap. Thrusters at that weight just killed me. I haven't done thrusters in forever and can't remember if I'd done high volume that heavy before, and I just totally underestimated how much they would slow me down. I don't think I started too fast or anything, it was just a challenge for me. I kept waiting for it to get easier in the round of 12, then 9, then 6, and it never did...I was so tired that even the round of 3 was hard to get through. But I did it! Considering that in January I would barely say out loud that I was thinking of maybe MAYBE doing the Open, but just for fun, and maybe not, I'm really proud of myself for finishing everything
23:40. That is literally the only WOD where quitting actually crossed my mind. Holy hell that was brutal.
Me too. During the series of 12 when it was clear my time goal was totally blown, and things weren't getting easier, and I had goosebumps from just feeling gassed, I seriously considered WHY I was putting myself through this torture and if it didn't make more sense to just stop.

Good for you for finishing…I think my time would have been up there too!
Everyone in my box finished last night in less than 25 minutes, however, I cheated and did WAY less weight and started at 15-12-9-9-3 then since I finished in 14 minutes I did another set of 9. I felt like such a wuss compared to everyone else.
But it was only my 7th class!! And never have I ever done a thruster in my life before yesterday.
