DH and I started with Season 1, Episode 1, about a month ago and finished the last episode of Season 4 last night.

So...um, holy crap! Walter White is seriously moving to the dark side. I love the direction of the character. So amazing how they've kind of reconciled Walter and Jesse, but with these two big secrets (Jane's death and Brock's poisoning) primed to explode in the next season.
I know they said Season 5 would be the last season, but I was trying to avoid spoilers so I had no idea it until last night that it would be spread across two years. I don't know how I'll survive.
DH and I just finished season 4 and are so excited for this Sunday! I haven't read anything about the upcoming season 5, no previews or promos or anything.
The character development over the course of this season was amazing. Do you think Walter Jr. will ever learn the truth about what his father is doing? Or Hank for that matter? Since this is the last season, I'm wondering how they'll resolve everything, or who might die!

DH and I were wondering what if the series will end with WW's death, but I don't think so. I think the Season 4 last few episodes were re-drawing the line for WW's character. Before he was willing to kill threats, or "bad guys." Now he's putting into danger his innocent neighbor, or the innocent kid. Next...Jesse? Hank? If it really came down to it, who would WW sacrifice to save himself?
It's interesting too...with Gus dead and the lab destroyed, theoretically he *could* be "out." He wouldn't be rich (I think between Ted and the car wash and all the various expenses all of his money is pretty much gone) but he wouldn't be in financial ruins. He could tell Hank to just hack it with his insurance costs or whatever. So...is he going to choose to continue to cook? I think he will. He's had a taste of money and power and he's going to want more.

I read an interview with Vince Gilligan about the Season 4 finale, and I'm still kind of confused.
Seriously, vaportrail, get out of this thread NOW!
SO, Walt is in his backyard, spinning the gun, and sees the Lily of the Valley. He decides to poison Brock, knowing that will bring Jesse to him, and counting on the fact that he can turn Jesse back around on Gus. He has Saul's bodyguard pat down Jesse for the cigarette, and at some point in there he gets the berries into Brock.
The thing I don't understand is, while Walt is running around desperately trying to locate Saul, breaking in the window, going into his assassin-plagued house for the $20k, etc...
How does Saul just mosey into Jesse's holding cell? How did Jesse's one phone call manage to get him on the spot, when WW is giving up the last $20k of his cash to do it? Or am I getting the chronology of that wrong? That can't all have been for show...why was he trying to reach Saul so desperately?
I think Mike is definitely coming back, but I'm not sure how he'll react. He's definitely a pragmatist, and I don't know if he'd do much out of loyalty to Gus posthomously, especially given the lack of medical attention he received. On the other hand, he does seem to have bonded somewhat with Jesse, so if it comes down to WW versus Jesse Mike might be Jesse's knight on the chessboard.

I cannot wait for Sunday!! I have no idea where they are going to go with the story now (although I think that Walt will keep cooking), but I can't wait to find out!

I think there was some fan controversy about the events regarding Brock's poisoning and all that...it seemed like a stretch to some. It kind of hurt my brain to think about it, so I just chose not to...lol.
