Who wants all three of mine? Probably would be best to split them up. I have a submissive, semi-clingy senior dog, an aggressive, angry senior cat, and a stupid lemming of an adult cat.
Last night, right as we were falling asleep, Cat came barrelling into the bedroom at full speed. Although the lights were off and I can't be certain, I think he managed to try to launch off Dot to get onto the bed, causing a giant uproar of fighting and howling, as well as some pathetic little pain-barks. Hobbes, being a total lemming, also joined in the fun, although I don't think he was involved in the initial issue. I got the light on and had to use to spray bottle to separate them. **sigh** By the time the dust settled, Dot was too afraid to sleep on the floor, so she managed to propel herself onto the bed (which is impressive and not her norm at all) and laid down on my feet. Hobbes spent 10 minutes sulking, then jumped up and laid down next to Dot. On my legs. 5 minutes after that, Cat jumped up on the bed and laid down above my head, on my pillow. And ALL THREE stayed that way all night. So I couldn't move at all. All night. Ugh. Worst sleep EVER. Also, Cat apparently kept reliving the situation in his sleep and would growl under his breath about every hour or so.
Urgh. I'm exhausted and cranky, as well as sore from not moving all night. I need a gallon of coffee and a massage.
