Past or present with some tips? Currently 22 weeks feeling great! I usually run 3/4 times a week. I do 6.25 miles sometimes a lil more and one longer run about 8/9 a week. I also teach spin 2/3x times a week. I also try to get one weight training day in there if it's a run day I keep the run at 3miles.
I'm running between 8:54/9:54 depending how I feel and the day.
This is my 3rd pregnancy but the first I've been running during. Started running after my 2nd. (The others mostly just spin) I've always been very active but have turned to running as my stress reliever. I ran my first half last summer and about 10 5k in the last year.

I ran until 25 weeks. I stopped because of horrible round ligament pain that stayed sore for days (switched to elliptical and exercise bike). I ran a marathon (slowly) at 20 weeks. I started back 3 weeks post-partum and just eased back in with walk breaks as needed.
How far into pregnancy did you run? I ran regularly up until 24-25 weeks, but got tired of the treadmill and didnt want to buy thermal tights in the next size up so I could run outside (and it was brutally cold here). I still do intervals on the treadmill (I am 33 weeks), but I am pretty slow at this point. Any tips once your belly got bigger? I didn't really pop until 26-27 weeks, but the extra weight didn't bother me. How did you feel getting back into it after? I'll let you this summer Anyone do a half marathon during? Nope, I was training for a marathon when I found out, and ran it @8 weeks. All the halves that I was interested in doing were all too close to my due date.
I ran throughout my pregnancy (4 miles the morning I went into labor). That being said I slowed down a lot, only ran 3X a week max, and spent most of it on a treadmill. I was also very pregnant in the summer which may account for the treadmill. I wore a Gabriella (spelling?) belt starting when my belly got big. I had a c section so was out for 6 weeks after. While I felt that I could have started earlier I didn't want to risk it. I found it easy to build up my mileage but hard to get back my pace.

my last run was on tuesday, went into labor at 1am wednesday morning, DS was born just after midnight on thursday. he was born at 39w5d. honestly? i had no issues as the belly grew. my hips spread 2" very early on (16w) so i never had any issues. i felt great. i started running at 3w PP, i was desperate for a run and walked out the door after a particularly long night and went for a run. my doctor told me i could do whatever i wanted (outside of sex and ab work) whenever i felt like it, but she was VERY lax about that sort of thing. i didn't train for a half during-i had no interest at that point.
Not pregnant anymore, but I hope you don't mind me weighing in.
How far into pregnancy did you run? Only ran very early for my first pregnancy (wasn't really a steady runner back then), for my second I ran until 27-28 weeks, I did run the day before DD was born in an attempt to get her out (worked like a charm!).
Any tips once your belly got bigger? Bigger shirts? I didn't really use any support things, once my belly got big, running became hard. I had to pee every two seconds and had a lot of cramping
How did you feel getting back into it after? It felt good, but sad since my pace was nowhere near what it was. I ran around 4 weeks. DD is 7 1/2 months and I'm back to my old pace and then some. It feels great!
Anyone do a half marathon during?I did one at 20 weeks. It went fine. My last race was a 10 miler at 23 weeks.
Thanks so much everyone! I love reading your stories!! Nobody around me runs and everyone keeps telling me to stop. DH is my number #1 and tells me to ignore everyone.
My doctor is completely on board with me. I'm not trying anything new and I'm listening to my body.
I'm thinking about a half at 27weeks but I'm going to wait till it's closer to register.

How far into pregnancy did you run? 25 weeks and still going
Any tips once your belly got bigger? I was on pelvic rest from weeks 14-18 and grew a lot during that period. When I got back in to it, I instantly needed a support belt. It's still working really well.
How did you feel getting back into it after? I started walking about two weeks after my 2nd was born and it felt great to just get out of the house. It wasn't much of a workout but it was good to just move. I started C25K when she was five or six weeks old. Anyone do a half marathon during? No, I have no aspirations further than a 5K. I would have liked to do some longer stuff, but the pelvic rest sort of took away the base I had.

Good idea waiting until you are closer. I ran a half at about 20 weeks and had another one set for around 23 weeks. SO much changed between then. I felt great at 20, not so much at 23! Every week is so different. Congrats and good luck! Try not and get discouraged if you can't run. I had weeks where I couldn't and then the next I would be ok
How far into pregnancy did you run? 35w Any tips once your belly got bigger? My biggest issue was needing to pee approx every mile. I did a lot of loops in the local park with bathrooms nearby. And I was a lot slower at the end...at least 2-3 min per mile slower than my pre-preg "easy" pace. How did you feel getting back into it after? I just started back last weekend (4W pp) and so far so good! Anyone do a half marathon during? No...the longest race I did was an 8K. I don't think I would have wanted to do a longer race than that, too many bathroom stops!
I ran through 32ish weeks. After that, it just hurt my hips too much. Worked out up until the day my water broke (lifting, barre, and yoga primarily).
Any tips once your belly got bigger?
Hmmm....no real tips on that. My belly didn't really bother me, but the resulting weight on my lower joints impacted HI activity towards the end.
How did you feel getting back into it after?
Honestly, it wasn't bad at all. I think working out for as long as you can is helpful. The worst was keeping my boobs contained when I was running and BF'ing
Anyone do a half marathon during?
Yes, but I was unaware that I was pregnant (I tested a few days after it). I blame that on my poor time
