What are you training for? Date? Run the Bluegrass Half - this Saturday
Schedule for the week? Lots of stretching, try to get a 2-3 mile run in before I leave. Travelling on Friday - hope to do a lot of walking at the Expo when I get there.
Any issues or vents? I am never doing a spring half again. Unless I convince DH to finally get a treadmill.
Highlights or AW's from last week? None. Just laying low and hope my leg holds out the whole race.

What are you training for? Date? Boston 4/21
Schedule for the week? At least an hour on the elliptical and/or spin x5. Weights x2
Any issues or vents? One step forward, 2 steps back.
I had a great 13 miler at 8:05 pace last weekend. Then 2 days later I had severe cramping in my calfs during a simple 5 miler, and it keeps happening every time I run now. Similar to a problem I had a couple years ago, but no idea why it's back again. I have an appointment with the ortho tomorrow.
Training: ugh. I ran 12 over the weekend (meant to do 10 but garmin died and overshot it) however this week is so far a bust. The little one came home from daycare sick again. Seriously, can this winter be over? I guess I'm tapering.
Vents: see above
My only goal for this weekend is to run faster than my half when I was 20 weeks pregnant. While this may seem easy, it may prove itself to be harder than expected

One step forward, two back. Yup, that sounds about right on course with me too

I think you're underestimating yourself based on the mileage and workouts you've been posting here. I bet you're going to do really well.
I hope your LO gets over his cold quickly, and doesn't share it with his mama.

Issues/vents: Mr. GT may want to run a marathon the first weekend in April and I want to go out of town that weekend. I'm annoyed cause he won't freaking commit to anything and has been doing this maybe I'll run a marathon thing since Philly. How the f do you not know if you want to run a marathon and it is a month away? End rant.
Highlights/AW: Half PR and age group award Saturday!!!!

What are you training for? Date? Half marathon on April 27
Schedule for the week? 18k scheduled for this Sunday, I tend to wing my weekday runs
Any issues or vents? No issues, all good
Highlights or AW's from last week? I decided to run a fast 5k training run last week to see what I could do. Finished in 24:45 and could probably go a little faster in a race setting. Also finished my long run at a good pace. Between these two runs, I think I should be able to PR my HM next month!

M - Rest Tu - 20 min strength W - 3-4 mi run Th - 20 min strength F - Rest Sa - 3-4 mi run Su - Yoga or rest
Any issues or vents? Just finding the time and energy to make it happen. I am hoping to get in to a morning run habit so DH can stay with DD before he leaves for work, but that ain't happening until she starts sleeping more than 90 minutes at a time at night.

Schedule for the week? At least an hour on the elliptical and/or spin x5. Weights x2
Any issues or vents? One step forward, 2 steps back.

Both of you need to give yourselves a break. You just had babies, for crying out loud.
What are you training for? Date? up next is the Platte River Half on 4/6 - just running for a workout with my sister
Schedule for the week? M- butts and guts class Tu - 5 mi W - 4 mi Th- rest F- 5 mi Sa- 9 mi/body pump
Any issues or vents? Meh...I can't find a groove. This whole no speedwork/hills/tempo is KILLING ME. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm currently in a "you'll never make it to Boston, nor will you ever achieve any shorter (read: faster) goals because you can't do the things you need to do to get faster." Wanting it in running isn't enough, and as a coach, I KNOW THAT. And it's frustrating.
Also, why am I still chubby? Good GOD. My pants are so tight. I hate it.

What are you training for? Date? Half marathon on 4/27
Schedule for the week? 5 miles, 5 miles, 9 miles; I don't care which days.
Any issues or vents? Stupid norovirus made me miss the last half of last week's runs, including my long run. I feel like I can't catch a break this winter, and I'm having to work really hard at not beating myself up over missing so many training runs.
Highlights or AW's from last week? The one run that I actually managed to do last week felt really good.
Hershey 10k April 13 W: 2 Mile Run R: cross F: 2 Mile interval run S: rest S: 5 Mile Run Return of my allergies is making me slow, groggy, and breathing issues. Glad to have spring-like weather but need to have meds start working. Sunday's run felt great!!
