Seriously. This is the second time this year that I got a nasty bruise in the same spot. I didn't realize it was a contact sport.

One time I showed up at school Monday morning with basically my entire quad on one side literally black and blue from a run in with my fins. It hurt to wear jeans over it so I wore a skirt and I was afraid they were going to question me about being abused or something.

Ow! And I vote not a pansy. I make H look at my bruises basically every day when I have them so that he can make appropriate noises for each color change and tell me how painful it looks and how tough I am.
Thank you both. I feel like my hair is still super awkward. I have never had hair this short except for right now and it feels too long to be down all the time, but is too short to be put up.
