Matt Smith is still my favorite doctor, although I do like Tennant. DH and I are just finishing the Tennant seasons. I agree with @ivankitteh I never really saw Rose and the Doctor, particularly Tennant as making sense. I liked Martha much better.

To be honest, though, I liked all the companions, but I liked Clara and Martha best.

Yes to all of these, although we recently re-watched Blink and, while we still liked it, I realized I had elevated it to mythical status in my mind. It was really good but not as spectacular as I recalled. We actually spent much of the episode tearing apart the plot holes.

I also completely forgot that Carey Mulligan was in it.

I really wish Sally Sparrow had been a companion. I loved her episode so much.

My favorite companions are Donna and Amy. Martha annoyed me because she was too into The Doctor.

Rose was ok, but like pp said kind of childish. I liked how she ended up with Tennant 2.0, though. It was a good way to wrap up their story. I like Clara, but I don't feel like I've gotten to know her like I have the others. She's kind of meh.

I think that Rory is my favorite companion. I also really like Amy and Clara. I like Donna alot. I didn't really like Martha and I'm not super into Rose.

I know River isn't really a companion, but I love, love, love, love her. She is amazing.

So...by yesterday, yup. Totally in love with David Tennant after The Impossible Planet/The Satin Pit. Just finished up through Doomsday. Stupid Rose. All that making me cry gave me a headache.
