Care to share your schedule? I just attempted a lunchtime workout (35 minutes on the treadmill, nothing complicated) and it was an epic fail. I'm partly to blame for that, since I realized I didn't bring much with me to make me un-smelly, lol, but I'm not sure how I could get this accomplished in an hour.
Anyway, I'd love for y'all to describe how your workouts go; how much time it takes to get to gym (if you go to a gym), get ready to exercise, get cleaned up, etc. I think I'll stick to my early morning workouts for the time being, but it certainly was nice to sleep in a little this morning. Haha.
12:00p head to change (my gym is one floor down in the same building) by 12:10p I'm on the treadmill for 40 min 12:50 got to the locker room, pull my hair up, wipe down with wipes, change clothes (completely including undies!), touch up make up and dry roots on cold with hair dryer.
Usually I'm back at my desk by 1:10 or so, that is if I am trying to keep it to an hour I'm lucky that my work schedule is flexible.
When I worked, I used to take the first 30 minutes of my lunch break and get a run in. I worked in an area surrounded by a hospital and multiple clinic buildings so it was quite safe. So I just changed in a bathroom and ran around the neighborhood. Then I left myself the last 30 minutes to cool down, eat lunch and let myself get refreshed so I didn't smell when I went back to work.
I enjoyed doing this for awhile because I am not a morning person and there was no way I could drag my butt out of bed at 6am to work out constantly. And I was occasionally too drained after work to do it too.
It depends if I go to the gym my schedule looks like this: Drive to gym ~ 10 minutes (if I walk ~ 15) Change ~ 5 minutes Work ou ~ 30-45 minutes Shower/Change ~ 10 minutes Drive back to work ~ 10 minutes (if I walk ~ 15)
If I run I just change in the bathroom and use baby wipes Change ~ 10 minutes Run ~ 40-50 minutes Change ~ 10 minutes
I usually just stay longer when I workout at lunch. I prefer working out at lunch cause it breaks the day up and eating lunch with most of my co-workers is boring.

I like swimming at lunch better than running because I don't get all red-faced and sweaty when I swim.
The gym is the next building over. If I leave at 12:00, I can be in the pool/on the treadmill by 12:10-12:15. 30 minute workout. Then I hit the locker room. I shower. Blow dry hair. Put on make-up. Get dressed. Book it back to my office.
When it's warm outside, I try to wear a dress because it's faster.

I can't do cardio on my lunch break, unless it's cold outside and I run outside. I sweat like a mofo, and I really have to take a shower afterwards. I stick to weights or yoga, and then I only sweat a little bit, and it's easy to clean myself up with wipes and deodorant. In theory, I could run for 30 minutes and have time for a quick shower, but most of the time it's not worth the hassle for me. And most of my runs are 45+ minutes.
My gym is a 3-minute walk from my office, so that makes it easy.

We have a gym in our building, so if I go there, it takes me a few minutes to go downstairs and get changed. I run for up to 45 minutes, then use baby wipes and deodorant, brush my hair, and I'm back upstairs. It does take a little over an hour, but my schedule is pretty flexible so it isn't a big deal.

I run during my lunch -- at a new job and it's chilly spring time so I run outside. We'll see what happens as it warms up. My actually lunch break happens whenever, but for the sake of simplicity, let's pretend it starts at 1pm.
1 - change in bathroom 1:05 - tell co-workers I'm headed out (they see me go change, but it sorta buys me 5 minutes to tell them after I'm changed) 1:05-1:45 - run, up to 5 miles at the moment, probably won't ever get more than that, may drop when it gets hotter out 1:45-2 - change back into work clothes (don't run in undies but do run in socks I wore all AM, then change to freshies), actionwipe my body, run cold water of my hands to cool myself down, finger comb my hair, touch up make up.
I do all of my changing in the public bathroom's handicap stall so there is no hair dryer or anything like that. Luckily it's been windy/cool so my hair doesn't get too wet. If it does borderline on "eh, gross" I just put it up.
It took me a while to get used to this routine and every time I start running at a new job (we're not going to talk about how many jobs I've had) I start with low miles/super easy pace to get used to it and to gauge how my manager/coworkers feel about it all. I'm lucky with my current job -- we promote ourselves as adventurers so a little sweat is welcome!

We don't have a gym or shower like all of you fancy people , nor do we even have hot water with which to clean up, so my routine is pretty primitive. But I can usually squeeze a 5-6 mile run into an hour-ish.
Once I am finished, I use some sort of wet wipe or 2 to clean off. I am liking the new Ban Total Refresh cooling body cloths, but they are small and flimsy so I have to use 2. Medical supply stores also sell big, soft wipes that serve the purpose well. I throw on some deodorant and powder, and I make sure to have a fresh pair of underpants.
I have very thick, curly hair, so I try to wear it off of my neck as much as possible- otherwise it gets sweaty. But as soon as I start to cool down I take my hair down, and I use the Tresemme fresh start mousse around my hairline and the roots and shake it out. Throw a little powdered foundation, and I am ready to get back to work.
It's not ideal, but I really appreciate being able to get a run in during the day.
We have a gym that offers classes at my office at 11 and 12. If I am doing an 11:00 class:
Change 10:50-10:55 Class starts at 11 Class ends 11:50ish Hit the shower (I use a shower cap) and just a quick rinse off, shower cap comes off and blow dry/dry shampoo roots. Get dressed/touch up makeup (sometimes I touch up my make up at my desk)
Back at my desk 12:10, heat up lunch and back to work 12:15.
If I work out alone (not in a class) it is usually more flexible. Most people here take 75 min lunches so that isn't really a problem for me.
11:45 - Leave work to walk to class 11:50ish - Change in locker room 12:00 - Start class 1:05 - Change in locker room 1:10 - Walk to work 1:15 - Pop lunch into microwave and eat.
I work through my lunch one day a week, and come in a bit early the rest of the days, to make up the 30 min on either side of my lunch break. I don't shower after class. Just do a wipe down and hope I'm not too stinky.
I can do it in an hour if I run outside at work, but it's longer if I have to drive to the gym. I change in my office, run, then do some work while I cool down enough to put my clothes back on. I'm able to eat at my desk while I work after that.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
2:00 arrive at locker room (it's a quick elevator ride down) 2:05: outside running/in the gym 2:40: come back in to locker room 2:40-2:45 shower 3:45-3:00 get dressed, quick hair dry to dry off the sweat, quick makeup fix and back to my desk
