cindy used to do this with little food pieces and her bed. she did it so often we had to discourage it because she was rubbing her nose raw trying to bury them in the folds.
lol, one of our dogs used to do this in his dog bed. It was so flipping funny. I also would occasionally catch him trying to "bury" one in a blanket on the couch. Dogs are awesome.

My dog hides them in my bed. I don't know who is more distraught on laundry day, him or me, when I realize I have been sleeping with two antlers and a kong.
WTF is this? He just started it the other day. He's legit upset he can't find the perfect spot in the couch right now.
My dog does this all the damn time. i have abut 150 pillows on the couch, and every time I rearrange them I find another damn milkbone or 2 or 10. One time I found a bagel. When i give her milkbones when she's outside, she tries to bury them in the garden. JUST EAT IT FOR PETE'S SAKE, LIKE A NORMAL DOG!

Mine hides them on the couch, behind pillows, in laundry piles, in bed. She also does this with hard treats. She'll eat soft treats right away, but hard ones get hidden.
Sadie buries her bones everywhere. Her own bed, our beds, the couch, wherever. And if she feels like it, she'll bury it on her bed by dropping it, then air-pushing "dirt" over it, walking around in a circle around it to ensure it's well-covered. With pretend-dirt. If you look at her while she does it, she knows that you've seen her "hiding place" and she stops and glares, picks up the bone, and carries it elsewhere for burial. It is hilarious.

My dog does this too, though she used to be worse about it than she is now that she's old. Once I went to take the cover off her bed to wash it, and there was an entire buffet of dog treats in there. We've found hidden treats under the pillows on our bed too. That's just illogical... hide treats from us under our own pillows?? Oooookay.

One of FI's family's dogs does this sometimes. He did it on the floor one time and seemed quite surprised that FI was able to find the bone under all the "dirt" air he pushed over it. And he's usually pretty smart.

Roxie does this all the time with special treats or bones. When MIL buys her a bone from the butcher shop, she will search the house high and low for the perfect hiding spot. It will take her hours. She tries digging in the couch and has hid stuff behind couch cushions, pillows, under tables, etc. She will go back later and enjoy the treat.
Our dog used to do this all the time. And he was known to rip up tufts of carpet, lick the wood floors frantically, eat anything in his way basically if he was inside and had an upset stomach. Like the way they eat grass outside but instead he's inside eating the floor. It was bizarre.
