I'm so sorry. I hope running again, when you're ready, provides some solace and calm. You're right that just doing it is the important part! In the meantime, enjoy the wonderful wine and cheese in Paris.

I am so sorry for your loss. And like others have said, running and other physical things like that were a huge help to me after a miscarriage. Paris will be beautiful and I hope you can make some wonderful, comforting memories there.
I hope Paris will help get your mind off things a little. And (I'm obviously not a runner) the blue cheese and wine will hopefully fill you with more endorphins than then run would have!

Ah thanks Valerie, appreciate you popping over here. Side note: runners eat blue cheese and drink wine In fact, not all of us are super health freaks. I, for example, run so that I can enjoy even more of the naughty stuff; other than the endorphins it might be my main motivation
