Anybody who's flown to a race

Stupid question alert: If I brought my mini foam roller in my backpack, would they stop me?

It won't fit in the carry on suitcase I'm bringing, and I really don't want to have to check my bag.

i took my foam roller to Bar Harbor for the MDI marathon. No one stopped me

Nope. I always bring mine. Never a problem.

Nope, I fly with my rumble roller and or stick on a regular basis in a carry on- no problems.

I had to demonstrate my "the stick" to security in China. They got a big kick out of it. And so did my COWORKERS traveling with me!! Lol

And then a coworker asked to borrow it while we sat at the gate.

When I was getting on the plane in DC to head to Chicago for the marathon there were at least 3 people getting onto the plane with a foam roller.

Yeah, I bet the stick looks a bit more intimidating. I mean, who exactly am I going to take out with a foam roller? I love that there have been security line demos! Lol

I am so glad now I didn't bring my stick! Mine has those teeth on them - don't think I would have wanted to demonstrate that at 4am.
