Still reading Voyager. About 2/3 done. Hopefully I can finish it this weekend because we hit up the library today.
I'm looking forward in the near future to the quiet adult time after the boys go to bed. In the future, I'm actually looking forward to a road trip to Kansas City for a cousin's wedding in May.
I'm reading Above All Men by none other than the son of our own GBCNer copzpartdeux, Eric Shonkwiler. I'll be honest, he has a unique writing style that took me a chapter or two to get into, but I'm really enjoying it!
QOTD: I'm both looking forward to and dreading Passover. It's the first time in five years that EVERYONE is getting together - all the siblings and aunts and uncles and cousins and kiddos. They're all coming to meet MY new baby daughter! I'm looking forward to everyone praising and fawning over her. She's such a great baby! BUT, all the cousins are fashionists and I am in a very frumpy phase, so I'm dreading feeling like a schlub. At least I'll be a schlub with a cute baby.

I stayed up late Friday night to finish Affairs of Steak. It was a nice enough mystery, though I felt it rushed to the finish without enough reason as to why it was solved that way. Saturday morning I read a couple of Lauren Willig's Pink Carnation series novellas/short stories and started Fonduing Fathers.
QOTW: Cousin's family reunion in July. I'm not going to be able to go in person, but we've set it up for me to attend part of the fun via Skype. And I'll get to meet my two newest cousins -- one will be 2 1/2 by then and the other will be 6 months, so they might not remember, but I will!
I'm reading a couple books at once because my Kindle library loans keep expiring:
(1) A Walk In the Park - Hoping to be done in time.
(2) White House Boys - A short book written by a survivor of a brutal reform school for boys in florida.
(3) Lean In - Inspiring, but my parter is considering a job transfer that would uproot me from my job. I am also debating staying at home for a bit when if we choose to have children. I can't tell if I love this book or hate it.
1) A Room With a View by EM Forster - just started 2) In the Midst of Alarms - Diane Graves (non-fic about women in the War of 1812)
I have so much going on I haven't read much this week. Today I hope to finish my presentation for next weekend, finish our taxes, revise a cover letter for a job application, and actually do some work for... work. I did a TON of errands and obviously worked yesterday, and had to go over to our house twice to check on contractors. This is exhausting! I think I have to go to Target and the bank tomorrow, too.
The Summer Garden (The Bronze Horseman #3) - Not sure how I feel about this one yet. I wasn't too into the other two books. This one seems a bit different. Darker.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas - Sort of on hold with this one since I saw the movie twice already. Not too into reading it since I know how it ends. It's an easy read though.
Fall of Giants (The Century Trilogy #1) - This one is sort of boring. I find my mind wanders to everything but what's going on in the book so I am missing parts here and there.
The Ocean at the End of the Lane - I don't like it. Not inot the magical aspect at all.
Finished Waiter Rant on Friday. It was a super easy and fun read. I needed that. I read too many serious books... see above ^^^^^.
I am looking forward to vacation. We're going to Maui this summer. n the short term, I am looking forward to the weekend so I can sleep in.
