Yay!! I'm so excited for you, hannahb! I know you've been working really hard on your running post-baby. I think you're going to be a flippin' rock star this weekend. Good luck and have fun!!
I'm doing the Run the Bluegrass tomorrow morning. Sitting in Detroit right now, waiting for my flight to KY. Weather forecast is iffy for the morning, but i don't really care at this point. Just want to run, then spend the rest of my weekend with the kiddos.

Well, technically I have my first 8k on Sunday (BoA Chicago Shamrock Shuffle) but I'm not allowed to run since I'm now in the middle of an IVF cycle :-( I was told I could walk it though. I am going to feel really odd doing that.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.

Ahhh -- have fun everyone! Good luck!
Running 6 hours of a 24 hour race, hoping for 30-40 very flat miles around a 1-ish mile loop. I may lose my mind before my legs. Not the hill work I need to be training on, but I figure it'll give me some mental endurance?!
Me!!! I'm running a 15K at a local park. It's the farthest I will have run in over 8 years (since picking running back up about 6 months ago). I'm feeling pretty excited about it, but also scared to death. I've had a heck of a week and I'm feeling pretty tired right now.

I feel your pain on this having to wave good bye to Paris Marathon next weekend which I will watch from the sidelines. Just remember that there are always other races. Plan to do the same one next year if it is really special to you. You are trying to achieve something incredible with your body, give it your best shot. It will be so worth it.
