I'm terrified of lightning. And electrical outlets. Pretty much anything that can kill me not my thing but electricity is my #1. Yet during a storm I'm sitting in my bathroom under a skylight with my pump plugged into the wall and attached to my nipples. Yeah I don't think this session is going up be very productive....
Ah that's ok. But! Now I have to walk into work during the storm though. That's pretty stinky. And A is crying as I leave. Boo again. Hopefully we will be super busy tonight and I'll bring home a ton of money.
How about pumping on battery power? I hope you had a good night at work!
Lol I have fresh batteries too, but dang they go so quick in that thing! Have you noticed that? I try to reserve them for emergencies like at work or in the back seat of the car on the interstate (yep I said it). Oh and it did stop raining just in time for me to walk into work, too. Good thing. No one wants to see these boobs in a wet white shirt.
My batteries lasted a while. What kind of pump do you have? I have a Medela Pump in Style and got a bunch of pumping sessions off those batteries. I don't go on battery power often, but I've never changed them. The last time I pumped on battery they seemed low so I could probably change them, but I don't think it's necessary now since I don't really pump anymore. Woo hoo! I hate pumping! I started weaning myself off the p[ump in January. I read somewhere that Mayim Bialik pumped for 3 years. Oh hell to the no!
I have the Pump in Style too! . I think I just had cheap batteries and it really made a difference. I was just shocked when I went to pump at work one day and couldn't because the juice was totally gone. I think I got maybe 10 sessions. Maybe 15 but that's pushing it.
Oh and 3 years? Aaaaabsolutely no. I love giving her antibodies and all but my boobs are of epic proportions right now and frankly it's becoming rather disturbing. These puppies are going to need surgery to recover.
