In Dubai there is ALWAYS something interesting on a run. Today it was the lady in the bubblegum pink Barbie (like the word 'Barbie' embroidered across her back in standard Barbie font) sweatsuit power walking with hand weights and ankle weights. She even looked like Barbie with her flowing perfectly curled bleach blond locks. Either she is really gifted in the hair department or she has extensions. It was just after sunrise.

Those houses are awesome! I think I like the cheaper one better, oddly. Is it weird that I am from NNJ and have not heard of one of those two towns?
No not eeird. Most of bergen county is tiny little 1.5 square mile towns no one has ever heard of, if you dont know any one who lives there or have a parkway exit. Though closter isnt that small, its next to alpine, which id think most people know because of all the celebs that live there (ive run past p. diddys house before).
I saw our resident ducks this morning! They come back every spring and spend the spring waddling up and down the road to different yards/docks. It's a male and female (mallard and drake???) and I'd like to think it's the same couple every year!
Yowzah; posh places! Can't believe that's what you see on your runs. I see grey snow and empty fields. Sometimes a car here and there.
Glad you had a great 19!
Edit: I also saw wide, open blue sky and sunshine. And a few tiny little towns. Don't mean to make it sound all bad. I really enjoyed the open countryside this morning. It's interesting to think about what different surrounding everyone runs in.
I was thrilled to have decent weather today to run 20. Blizzard warnings already showing up for Monday though...
I went dumpster diving on my run today, lol. I usually hide my water bottle so I don't have to carry it the entire time, and today someone must have thought it was litter and cleaned it up. It was outside a cemetery so it was nestled in between old wreaths and teddy bears. I have no shame. Heaven knows I wouldn't want to have to run back the mile home in the middle of a 20+ miler to get water. Hah.
I did 12 disappointing miles on the treadmill. Nothing interesting to see.
Yeah but after you were done you looked in the mirror and saw the face of someone who gutted out 12 miles on a TM. That is not something you see everyday!

Thanks Susie.
I really did blush, like pulled my jacket over my face and everything like you could see me.
