My husband did 19 on the treadmill while on an unexpected trip to Wisconsin in January... So technically you could, but I think it would suck worse than just going outside! Maybe do half and half?
Ugh I was thinking about you (DC) ladies when I was driving home from yoga. I was completely drenched and frozen just walking from the studio to my car. When I drove by the W&OD trail I literally saw 1 runner. Just one. That never happens, this time of the year it's usually packed. Stay warm and dry!

I just finished 5 miles outside in the rain/mist/wind. It sucked but I feel so much better about myself after doing that. I have a 5k next week and conditions look pretty good, I'm debating on what to set for a goal time now.
I did 5 miles with BostonMichelle and my goodness the wind was something else! We did get a break for a little while though. I feel better having done it though. My friend always reminds me I will never know what weather conditions will be on a race day, so I need to work through various conditions to prepare myself just in case the weather is less than ideal at any given race.
The high was 59 degrees with 20-25 mph winds. It was a good day to mountain bike! It's been rainy here the last few weekends. I'm ready for the drought to return.

Ugg, I did 6 miles on sunday on a boardwalk so the wind was really kicking my butt. I ran an out and back up the shoreline and had a headwind in both directions. How is that possible? Really wind, REALLY?!

lol I swear this happened to me yesterday too! I did an out and back on our local trail. My 6.5 out was into the wind, but I kept happily telling myself not to worry, it'll be so much easier on the way back. Well, the first few miles back there wasn't any wind at all, but then it was in my face again! ARGH!!!

WTF is with the wind lately? It was (temperature wise) gorgeous here yesterday, but both my run & my ride were not enjoyable due to the friggin wind tunnel that was my route. Between that, the damn pollen, and rain, I am over it. We get two months, TWO, before it is miserably hot & humid, and we've lost one month to the above BS.

BTW - long time, no see! How's everything?
It's so annoying! The other day it was really gusting and I made the mistake of starting with the wind at my back. I was like "whoowho! I'm so fast!!" but was all "How can I be running in place?" on my way back.
Going good Sent you a message Hope you and patches are doing well!
