I'm signed up for a REALLY hilly 15k next Sunday. I haven't run anything longer than 4 since my half 2 weeks ago. I won't have time to get in a run longer than 5 (and that's pushing it) this week. Should I do the 15k or drop down to the 4 mile? If I drop to the 4 mile, I may actually run to the race (it's about 2 miles from my house), so I'll still get a good workout for the day.
You can totally do the 15k. You were trained for a half and that was only 2 weeks ago, you can do 9.3, even hilly. I think if it were me, I'd run 5, a 3 and a 2 miler and call it. You've got this.

You're pretty motivating. I'm gonna need to re-read this post on Saturday night, ha.

You don't need me, I'm telling you, you HAVE this. Just go have fun with it, play on the hills. Slug up them, then fly down the other side. You might surprise yourself - you're trained and now fully recovered from a big race! Think of the last 2 weeks as a taper.
But, I'll cheer you on anyway! You've been motivating to me, it's the least I can do to return the favor.
Absolutely go for the 15K as long as you want to do it! You won't lose your base from a 1/2 marathon in 2 weeks. You should actually be well prepared & recovered by now, so it's a good balance timing-wise. Have fun!
