Has anyone had one? Is this an all day event? Apparently I receive an IV a few hours prior to the scan itself so I'm assuming it will at least take half a day. Any experience with this? Apparently my "sore ankle" is something more, ugh.
I haven't one but just want to send you hair pats, hugs, and good wishes. It seems like you've been dealing with ankle pain forever. Hope all goes well.
I had to drink the contrast, then come back in a few hours for the scan. I relaxed while it happened and then headed home. Good luck with finding some answers to your pain

Aww thanks doll. I'll take all the hair pats, hugs, and good wishes I can get!
It probably seems like a long time issue since I haven't posted in AGES and last week did about my ankle. Truth be told it just fired up. Two weeks ago today was the NYC Half and I noticed my ankle hurt a few days after. I shrugged it off but two weeks later and some swelling made me finally bite the bullet to see a doctor. Damnit! Of course I signed up for another half (end of May) two days after returning from New York. I was training for this to be my sub-2 hour half and I'm more upset that I'm side-lined than the fact I hurt myself. Lol, great reasoning right?!
Here's hoping it's a wicked sprain and not the stress fracture he's assuming.

Oops, I might be confusing you with someone else (sorry!). I thought you had ankle issues a couple years ago too. Woops. Regardless, the hair pats and everything mentioned above is still in order!

It should be two pretty quick appointment. Getting to the hospital twice was the biggest time commitment for me the last time I had one. Good luck. I hope it's just a sprain.

Thanks. Do you want to come over and do IMT half or full? If you do, let me know. I will get you a free entry.

That's actually really tempting. I want to try to make another run at a BQ this fall and I haven't figured out where to do it yet. When do you need to know by? My life is just completely up in the air right now because I'm graduating in a month and have to idea if/where/when I'm moving.

By August would be great. The handful of entries i have get spoken for fairly quickly.
