I have been watching this. I have to drive through Watertown center to get to work, it took about 90 mins from Waltham but being able to see the literally THOUSANDS of firefighters in dress blues was so moving.
Holy crap, 90 minutes is crazy from where you are, preppy! I avoided my yoga class yesterday because I figured getting over there was going to be nuts with the wake happening across the street. It's really incredible how many people are there.
Last night was pretty bad too. I left at 5 (yay for leaving on time!) and it took about an hour to get home. It was really backed up.

I went to the Waltham library around then and passed a line of traffic on Beaver St. that stretched back to Bentley I don't get why that was backed up though and Main St. was flowing as normal. So strange.
That's really weird it was backed up there if Main St was flowing. California Street was backed up from Watertown Square all the way into Waltham. It wasn't fun but atleast that traffic made sense.
I just feel so badly for these families. The scene was very moving.
