I agree. The print is great, but with where the stripes hit it's not doing her any favors either. I just looked at the back and it really doesn't look good from that angle, but it could be the fit. I think there's better to be found.

I think its cute, but the colors don't work on the model, perhaps they would look better on you. Also, I wish she wasn't standing in such an awkward pose...makes the dress look more unflattering than I think it may actually be.
I thought she meant "kills it' in a good way, lol.
I actually think she looks great in the dress, but also think that plus size girls need to be careful about those horizontal patterns/stripes.
Yeah the stripes and patterns were one of my concerns..I usually only wear solids. I think I have maybe 2 or 3 dresses/skirts total with patterns.
Edited to correct grammar
There are some great plus size maxi dress options out there in prints that are constructed to wear a real bra and flatter. I don't think this is one of them though. The back view on the link looks really bad and the light colors aren't working for this design. I think it would even show flaws under a light cardigan or shrug.
I dropped from plus sizes to regular sizes from last year. I have an awesome Tommy Hilfiger one in a great print that is a lot more flattering from last year. I also got a great printed one last year at Target. The Monif C convertible maxi dress is one of the best out there, but typically comes in solids due to construction. It fit when I was a 22 and still fits now that I'm several sizes down. Monif's sister who is a size 6 wears her dresses all the time, but Monif wants to be a true plus designer.
