without work or school or kids of take care of or anything, what would your workout schedule look like?
I saved 2 of my months off for April and May, so I've been done with school since the 19th of March. It was great at first, and now it's driving me crazy. We have a few trips planned but they are mostly weekends except for a week in Mexico in early June, and I'll also throw out that I'd like to be more bikini-ready than I am now for that.
I've essentially taken a break the past couple weeks (~15 mi/week plus a couple gym trips) and I'm ready to hit it hard again (8 miles coming up this evening). I was considering moving my runs to the morning and running 5 days/week and then trying to go to the pool and swim some afternoons and lifting others. I kind of want to do some yoga again but I don't know that I want to pay for classes.
M slowish recovery run and yoga T spin class, strength (there's a TRX/spin combo class at a local studio that I love) W short run Th speed/tempo work F short run, upper body strength Sat long run Sun rest
I was unemployeed for a short amount of time, my days looked something like this:
Early workout - 7 or 8 ish for about an hour - usually Barre 3 Run in the mid morning Barre 3 again in the early afternoon Yoga in the evening
There were days that I did 3 Barre classes because there were back-to-backs that worked nicely.
ETA: Oh you mean a week. I would usually do that every day in the week. Saturdays had either only 1 Barre class or none due to my longer run. Sundays would be rest which was just 1 or 2 yoga classes.
Well this actually happened to me sort of...I was unemployed for a lot of 2010. Besides job hunting in the morning, I had the afternoons free to workout. I kept my really cheap gym membership for my sanity.
I would usually go running and/or to the gym around 2:00pm each day. I was lifting 3x using NROL and running about 5x a week. I also did one day of yoga.
I think it was like this: Monday - 6-8 mile run Tuesday - weights and easy run Wed - 6-8 mile run and yoga Thur - weights and speed workout Fri - easy 3-4 mile run Sat - 4-6 mile run Sun - easy 3-4 mile run
My week would look like whatever Ironman training looks like.
I don't say that cavalierly, I just mean that if I had that kind of time I'd train for a 140.6 instead of a 70.3, so my schedule would reflect that, and change week to week.
I'm a SAHM this is my schedule: M: teach spin in the am T: 10k run W: Teach spin in pm TR: Long run (10miles) Fri: weight training with trainer Sat: 3mile run and weight training class Sun: off

I think I'd still mostly work out in the morning, because that's what works best for my body, but I'd start around 8 am instead of 6 or 6:30. And I'd do yoga every day, probably in the afternoon.
I would still be a morning workout person, but I would do 2-fers all at once. For me right now I'd love to do running and then yoga and/or swimming. Or if the weather was nice, I'd bike to a different area to do my run. I live for finding new running routes to keep me motivated!
Sat.-Sunday: Long bike rides b/c that's when my friends are off. Monday: Recovery ride (60-90 minutes) Tuesday/Wed./Thursday: 2 25-30 mile group rides and 1 day off. Friday: Off
It wouldn't look much different than now. Maybe I'd add a mountain bike ride midweek.
I took two months off before I started my current job and basically I did cardio in the morning and weights/yoga in the afternoon six days a week. It was fabulous.
I would probably work out twice a day. I'd probably swim in the mornings and do a group class or p/t in the evenings. Realistically I could do this now, but I'm using work as an excuse.
I'd get up, drink coffee, then run or run and lift. Then I'd go to a local coffee shop, drink more coffee and read while eating. Then maybe I'd clean and cook. Then I would hit up a yoga class.
