Hello! I got a bfp Monday morning after 4 cycles of actively charting/trying. This will be my first. I'm married to a charming Brit and I'm a stepmom to his amazing 7 year old daughter. He's thrilled to be a second time dad and SD is over the moon excited to be a big sis. We have 2 kitties, 1 dog and live in Denver.
My my first appt is April 17, and I'll be around 6 weeks by then. Is it normal to keep asking myself if this is really happening?!? I feel normal! Anyway, looking forward to this adventure with all of you!
Oh yeah, it's totally normal to be in disbelief/denial. That can last for a while, especially if you're fortunate enough to have an uneventful (read: not sick) first trimester.

Congratulations! Even though I'm sick and have been through this before, it still seems incredible. With DD I remember feeling intense disbelief when I finally saw her.
