I didn't get into the CB lottery so I'm doing the Parkway Classic instead next week.
This week im out in Portland, OR, visiting my little sis. We are running a 10k tomorrow called Bridge to Brews. They've got at least a dozen breweries signed up for the party at the end!
And the bridges here are gorgeous.

H and I jumped into a local 5K this morning. Had no clue what to expect since my running's been all over the place with dissertation writing. I ended up surprising myself and running a 21:40!

I'm running a 5K for Autism Speaks tomorrow. It is supposed to be a beautiful day and my runs have felt great the past couple of weeks, so I have my sights on a PR.

This lurker is running the Annapolis' Striders Cherry Pit 10 miler tomorrow. It will be my longest run ever!

I'm home from running the Hollywood Half. I'm one of their race ambassadors and got tapped to act as one of five "course angels," so I didn't run it for time. Basically, they stationed us throughout the back half to cheer everyone on, till the last runner was done.

I finished over an hour beyond my usual time, but it was so much fun! Reminds me to volunteer more often. It was cool to be on the other side for once.
