I started with the unisom/b6 combo but it gave me really weird headaches and ear issues. It didn't do anything for the nausea. I finally had to get zofran and that was a lifesaver. I didn't need it for long and I was able to use that plus a combo of jolly ranchers to get through the worst weeks.
I just had a doctor prescribe the B6/Unisom combo yesterday. So far it's working, I haven't thrown up since my appointment yesterday morning! Still have occasional nausea though, but nothing anything remotely close to what it was. The doctor only has me taking a 25mg Unisom right before bed, so I sleep great. I was just a little drowsy this morning because I got up early.
I just did unisom, no b66. I will still nauseous then at 11 weeks thought I didn't need it, wrong! At least for me I noticed a difference. I only took half a pill.
I tried unisom/B6 once, but it turns out the unisom doesn't like me and made me anxious/jittery so that was the end of that.
I took 25 mg B6 3x a day w/o unisom and it only helped a little. However it got worse again so I eventually I went on zofran, which was amazing. Still had nausea but not 24/7 and no throwing up.
