Mr. GT and I ran the Brambleton Ribbon Run this morning. He finished 3rd overall in the 10k and I was the 5th female in the 5k and 2nd/126 in my age group. It wasn't a PR, but pretty close (23:35). I think I see a 5k PR come May.

The temperature was great for racing, but man it was windy. (For the DC ladies there were a bunch of spots like Hains Point in CB last year) I'm now somewhat over not getting into CB.

Thanks ladies!

Yeah, I may have yelled mean things at Mr. GT while we were running our warmup about the wind. At least the course had several turns so we weren't always running into the wind.

cinco - thanks for the encouragement!!

mrshandy - weather.com seems to think the wind will die down overnight, hopefully y'all will have a good race.
