Happy Monday! We had a busy weekend, but very productive! If walking would make a baby come out, this kid should have already arrived, so I'm pretty sure everyone is full of crap about that fact. But we had people over and finished putting together an armoire for the 2nd bedroom and cleaned house. It was a very nice weekend!
Today I'm supposed to have lunch with a friend, but she often forgets to charge her cell phone and just as often misplaces it, so we will see how that pans out!
QOTD: I really like the mountains, but have yet to learn how to ski (it is on my list of to-do's!). I'm not a beachy person. I like vacations where I can wander around and just randomly find something fun to do! I don't like overplanning all the little details and I want good food to just appear for me.

Good morning!
The weekend was a bit of a downer. We're still waiting on final word on somethings that might mean BIG changes in my life and we're a bit nervous about it. And we visited one DH's friends whose brother passed away unexpectedly and (so far) without cause. We spent the better part of Saturday afternoon and night with her. She is not handling the news well and was just out of the hospital after a nervous episode upon hearing the news. I left her (and her sons) with several heat-and-eat meals, as well as a cake and some homemade ice cream. I took over her kitchen for a bit and prepped things so they wouldn't have to worry about anything for the next few nights -- until they head up to the funeral. Sunday DH relaxed while I did laundry and cleaned house.
QOTD: I prefer cooler destinations, and winer trips don't bother me as long as the location is equipped to deal with conditions. I do not like beaches. I like to have some things to do, but I'm not opposed to spending days just wandering about and hanging out at the hotel. I take vacations to relax. The places I have been I would go back to in a heartbeat are Quebec and Adelaide.
Morning. Had a nice weekend just me and DS. I can get a lot more done when DH isn't around
QOTD: I like any type of vacation as long as it means we go to one place and just relax. I don't like a lot of "schlepping" around. I loved ski vacations as a kid and I love going to my parents' lake house with the family. Anything where we just do a few enjoyable activities during the day and have slow evenings.
Morning. Quiet weekend here with DH recovering from a big night out on Friday. I took DS1 swimming yesterday and was pleased to see my wobbly bits aren't as wobbly right now. Thank you Crossfit.
I'm being adventurous and trying my French press again after five years as a Nespresso addict. Yes, that's the exciting stuff in my life.
QOTD: Beach! Doesn't have to be stinking hot but preference is given to resorts with a good creche. I do enjoy an all-inclusive because a week of no dishes and no meal prep is such a treat. Portugal in 5 weeks!!!

Morning :-)
Weekend was nice!! Got a haircut and a pedicure, and had lunch with a friend. Spent the evenings with DH catching up on tv. He's having a really bad semester so we're keeping weekends low key until the end of the semester!
Today is pretty quiet. Trying to get some things done at work, then I'm heading home and hope to work on a few new Zumba routines. No other major plans for tonight!
QOTD: I love beachy vacations the most, but I'm open to all vacations, because there are so many amazing places that aren't the beach :-P Maldives was my favorite beach vacation, and the christmas market cruises we've done have been awesome too. So it just depends ;-)

I am so bored! lO has been sick for the last three days. We are stuck at home but has a lot of energy. We are both really bored. Now, I am just looking over the tax forms while LO naps.
qotd: i like a mix. I dont like relaxing on the beach all day or going crazy trying to see everything. I like waking up late, having a nice breakfast, sight- seeing for a bit, and then a nap before going out to dinner.

Good afternoon!
My weekend was pretty good. I spent the majority of Friday and Saturday morning assembling furniture and then putting things away. It is so nice to have some storage space again! Then we spent Saturday night with a coworker of my husband and some of the coworker's friends. It was nice to get out and see other people!
My favorite vacation depends on my mood. Right now I would LOVE a relaxing, lazy beach vacation. But I do like sight seeing when I'm less tired and burnt out.
My weekend was pretty fun. I thought it was going to be dull because H is OOT, but it turned out ok. I bought DD a scooter and she is totally amused by it, which may have been more fun for me than it was for her even.
QOTD: I like vacations that have an activity. I am not really partial to any setting, but things like snowboarding, surfing, or backpacking (like hiking, not like a hippie). I also enjoyed going on safari a lot. I pretty much never sit still or 'just relax' so no relaxing vacations.
Hi all! It was my birthday today but I have a cold so not doing anything exciting tonight. But my mom's in town from yesterday so I took the day off and went out for a lovely lunch with DH, LO and my mom. It's been probably 10-15 years since I've been with my mom on my birthday so it was pretty special!
QOTD: I absolutely love beach vacations but we don't do them very often, we tend more towards city breaks.
I'm late to the game as usual...but last night was our 7th anniversary dinner so I was out and about. We went to an oyster bar in London. I'm feeling the effects of the wine today as I didn't sleep well, but it was worth it. This is my big week of celebrations...not great for the waistline!
