i have mentioned in the past that my ex bf works in the same building as me..but we never run into each other bc of the huge-ness of my building...it's been about 3x's total in the 3 years i've been not-on-maternity leave.
well, today was one of those days...and as i was turning to see if it was him, i run into a wall. we say a quick hi, i turn to go back about my business and i run into THE SAME DAMN WALL. fantastic.
and just a fun factoid. i'm not (wasn't) wearing any undies as i ran into him... i had a major oops/spill when i was pumping today.. my cotton undies got soaked, and it was easier/more comfy to remove them.
my mom says i should expect one more snafu today (things come in 3's).
My dad used to have a saying about eating a frog first thing every morning to make sure your day only goes up from there. That sounds very not-fun and I hope nothing else happens, or that it's nothing major!
When I was in the office on Thursday, I had back-to-back meetings and very nearly didn't make it to the bathroom after. I'm a little afraid of surviving the rest of pregnancy without peeing myself. I'm debating whether to keep a pair of emergency pants and underwear at my desk...

i considered this..but i didn't have very many pants that fit, so i didn't have the spare to leave at the desk! i just made sure i always had a jacket to wrap around the waist...you know..90's style!

Lol, I did that so many times in 8th grade when my period started unexpectedly. I've had unpredictable cycles my entire life and it was mortifying in middle school.
I have two pairs of too-short maternity pants -- I bought a box of maternity clothes off of CL when I was pregnant with G and most fit, but I'm tall and these pants look like goofy high-waters. I may have to remember the jacket-around-the-waist trick, though. Since I haven't bothered to bring in the extra pants yet...

i have irregular periods too! i had a gyno appt at about age 23..first one in a while....and the dr asked about my period, and i said it was irregular, and the last doc told me that i'd grow out of it one day..and she looked at me and was like "you should've grown out of that 8 years ago...."
but i still haven't grown out of it..and my doc says it's just fine. so there.
what are your cycles like? mine (pre pregnancy) have been anywhere between 14-100+ days, averaging around 40-60ish days. post bjl, they were about 40-50...i only had 3 or 4 periods before i got pregnant again.

Mine are typically 30-40 days -- just long enough of a window for me to be off-guard. And I've never really figured out what signs signify impending AF. I had 5 periods in 6 months before getting pregnant again, starting in June when G was 14 months old and began to sleep slightly better at night.
