The way I choose a psychiatrist (for my kids at least) is: who takes my insurance and who can get us in But, in general, I don't expect psychiatrists or therapists to have amazing websites. So as long as he has a website and it's not creepy (like the 2nd pic), it would be okay with me. I have super high standards
DS's psychiatrist has a less artsy fartsy approach. It's clean and functional with a slide show featring a random mix of people.
DS has aspergers. It's April and I am so over puzzle pieces and lighting the night blue,
ETA: I count on DS's psychiatrist to manage his medications- clever and whimsy are not traits I'm looking for. That said, I found DS's psychiatrist via his psychologist; I pay out of pocket since the best folks where I live don't take insurance.
