I had one of those runs this morning that was super awesome, made me love running, and made me feel on top of the world for the next few hours. It was my first run without the stroller in a long time. I can't wait to get back out there!
Yay! I had one of those yesterday. The weather was perfect and sunny. I hung with DH for 5 miles and then turned it on for the last one (he can't keep up with me anymore . I'm so, so happy to be feeling better about running because I was afraid I was going to spend all week dreading Sunday's race! Also I started yoga on Sunday and went again this morning and it makes me feel so stretched out and limber. I love it. And I just bought some new makeup.

Love this! I felt like crap last night and needed to get to bed early. It made getting up for 530a BodyPump so much easier. It has made this tough day so much more tolerable.

Tonight is the first night of my new training group! I am super excited about it! I have really been wanting to make some running friends, so hopefully this will help. And I have been slacking in the 9 days since my half- I'm ready to get back out there again.
I'm a month away from a freaking IRONMAN! 140.6 miles is such an incredibly long way - our bodies are so unbelievable!
Also, I bought 25 TRX classes for $22 to do after ironman! It's going to be so fun to go to a class like that, run a bit, swim a bit, ride a bit, play tennis a bit, be plan free!!!!
I made my goal of doing box jumps on the 30" plyo box this morning. It took a lot of happy thoughts and encouragement from my trainer to get over my nerves.
This week I've had my first two runs of the year in short sleeves and capris- one was even in sunshine It's amazing what that does for my mental state.
I took a bit of a leap of faith and reached out to a contact in order to network and re-launch a professional goal of mine (writing). I'm cautiously excited that something may pan out. It's a small step and I still have a long road ahead of me to get to where I want to be, but it's something I'm excited about.

I am legit so excited for everyone in here!
My little happiness is that I ROCKED some cleans yesterday. We were working on technique, and it just all came together at a higher level than ever before. The weight was nothing, but I know enough now that I'm just as stoked to have improved my technique as if I'd PRed a heavy weight.
The happy/bad news is that I also loved my new Reebok Crossfit shorts that cost $50. I let myself splurge on a pair as a reward for doing the Open, and now I want like 5 more pairs. Oops.
Happiest thought ever - I had no clue! Damn- the only store near me is no longer open
This is sad
Well, it's not Ben and Jerry's, and it's not free, but I did have an ice cream score today- Stonyfield Frozen Greek Yogurt I'm addicted to was on super sale at my grocery store- over 50% off- woo hoo! 4 pints are in the freezer.
My massage therapist came back a day early from vacation. She saw my whine-y "my back hurts" post on FB and said I could come for a massage this week. Yeah!
Another happy thought! I'm on my trainer in my backyard with just a sports bra (well, and also shorts!)So warm!!
For real, how do you always look so pretty when you're exercising?
She's only 28!
I kid. Cute pic, Kams! It makes me smile.
My happy thoughts....let's see. I have now booked all hotels and airfare for our late summer vacation. I'm so excited!!! Next up is trains, possibly a private boat tour around Capri, and a rental car in Florence, for the day we plan to go here: fattoriapoggioalloro.com/?lang=en
I realized today, that by the end of next month, my car will be paid off...TWO YEARS EARLY! <)
I had had a great run tonight. I thought it was going to be awful, because I was still limping around with soreness from Sunday 's leg work, but it was pretty solid. 3 loops, 6 bridges, 7.3 miles, 7:51 pace. My fastest 3 looper by a good bit.

I'm 28 too, why don't I look like that when I work out?? Not fair.
