I feel like an idiot. Once again, while trying to go straight from work to Crossfit, I forgot something. Last Tuesday I forgot my socks. I am still nursing a blister as a result. This Tuesday I forgot my shoes. Arrrrggghh!
Anyone else have an H&F failure to share?
ETA: On the bright side, I was able to swing home, grab my shoes and make the 7pm class.
I have a speed workout in 1.5hrs and I was starving when I got home from work. So I ate ravioli. I am going to use my psychic intuition to go ahead and call out that fail ahead of time. Lets hope I don't puke?
I once was asked to sub a spin class, and didn't know it was a spin/powersculpt class.
So not only did I have to come up with a 20 min bootcamp class on the fly, I had to do it shoeless (because, naturally, I only had cycling shoes). I was so embarrassed.
I had a late breakfast yesterday, and ate 4 pieces of bacon. Then a couple of hours later I went to cross train class. I didn't puke, but it was close.

Worth it. I want some bacon.
See, this is what I thought, and then it tried to crawl out again. ::shudder::
I meant to run today, but the high wind warnings here means an outdoor running isn't happening. And I don't have the patience to run on the treadmill today, soooo I just didn't run.

@mrschicken - my powersculpt classes (well, the few I've been to lately) are always shoe less bc they're a combo of yoga/weightlifting. Do you usually wear shoes?
MrsE, extra factors: I had never taught a powersculpt class before; I'm not that good at it; and one of my favorite spin instructors (who I really, really wanted to impress ) heard I was subbing and wanted to check out my class.
I have written at least 10 different workouts, planned to cycle, swim, etc since my marathon, but what I have done...little to nothing. I was too focused on the fact that I ripped up my shins and I just wanted to run .
I had time trials last night for my training group and I FORGOT MY GARMIN! I know, in theory, that was probably for the best because I was truly running what was a comfortable pace. But I felt so naked, and at this point, I still have no idea how fast (or slow!) I ran.
I don't think I shared this gem yet. I forgot my Spi Belt at my 10 miler race, so I tied my key into my waistband strap. It stayed put until the last mile when it slipped down next to my lady parts. I was dying. Keep it there? Dig it out? I won't be forgetting the belt again.

I haven't done anything since my half almost 2 weeks ago. I decided that this was the week I'd try out some classes at the gym. I had a Tabata class all picked out for last night, and was psyching myself up for it. I failed to realize that I had an appointment to get my oil changed after work, and that it would be more than the basic, so I didn't have any clothes with me. I drove right by my gym on the way home, and by the time I got there, realized I wouldn't have enough time to change and get back. Guess I'll try again tomorrow night since I have to stay at school until 9pm tonight.

ahahhaha I'm wriggling in my desk just thinking about this!

OMG!
And....what did you do?!
I left it for about a couple minutes, but it was not going to work. Luckily it was a small race!
I packed H's lunch this morning because he's trying to lose a few pounds and kills his diet at work. I packed him a salad with grilled chicken, some cukes in vinegar, a yogurt, and celery with peanut butter. All packed in individual serving sizes so he knows how much he's eating. He was really appreciative.
What did I do? I forgot my lunch. Co-worker just told me he was ordering pizza, and I accepted his invite to have some of it. I'm pretty sure I heard him order bacon and pepperoni. I feel guilty sticking H with salad and I'm having pizza.
I've never had a mini or non mini Cadbury egg, which seems like a fail. My last marathon was a couple days before Halloween, and this one is the day after Easter. My taper/fueling plan= candy.
