I think it is more silly than anything else. It is like thinking that dating a guy from another country is more interesting than dating somebody from your home country. Sure, it might be a bit more interesting in some aspects but at the end of the day, you have the deal with the same ups and downs of the relationship.
The first time I went to Spain, I went for a summer and spent the whole summer partying. I thought it was the coolest place ever. Then I moved there to study and realized that it can be just as boring as home.
I was reading her blog. I am so jealous. I want to go back. I miss the lifestyle.
