Coach wristlets in each of their favorite colors, flip flops for reception, gift cards to their favorite store. Something else but I cannot remember for the life of me.
Eta: I think I got them each a lip gloss or something. Whatever it was, I tucked it into the wristlets.
Clutch purses with earrings in them. The earrings weren't to wear that day though. Just pretty sand dollar pendants that were reminiscent of the Cape, where the wedding was.
Lands End tote bags filled with individualized gifts. For one bridesmaid it was kindle accessories for another it was a scarf and beauty stuff. They went over well, I think.

jewelry.
i'm going to be blunt and say that an engraved picture frame is not the greatest gift for a 20-something (ok, or really for anyone that i know). get them something that they'll like and be able to use.

Jewelry And wine, and then on my way out of the salon I paid for their hair/makeup/nails. They were all expecting to pay for that, so it was a nice surprise.
My only bridesmaid was my sister and I bought her dress. I don't remember getting her anything else. It was just an off the rack dress that she's since wore a couple times to other weddings so I guess that wasn't too bad.
I hate when people gift stuff for their wedding. Please don't get them matching jewelry and purses to use in YOUR wedding. I bought them all little mirror compacts (I always feel like I need one at work to check for food in my teeth or if my mascara is running. Lol) and a bottle of wine picked for each of their liking - 2 like sweet pinks, my sister loves Malbec, and appt hoc red for SIL.
I agree. I will also say no to anything monogrammed. But I have an irrational hatred of monogramming so maybe don't listen to me.

I had 12 bridesmaids (5 of whom were sisters), so my budget was limited. I gave them each:
- lotion in their favorite scent - flip flops (for dancing) - a book that I felt suited them - a bunch of their favorite snacks - beaded bracelets that my stepmother made, and - little personalized notepads.
I put all of that in a monogrammed (haha rupertpenny) beach tote in their favorite color.

I gave mine clutches with jewelry to wear the day of in them. We'd actually discussed the jewelry beforehand, so they weren't unaware.
My friend gave duffle bags in fun prints and those plastic ice coffee cups with our initial(s) on them. I still use both. I actually JUST took a sip from that cup.
I paid for thier hair and makeup for the wedding. They were happy not to have to shell out the cash. I also got them flip flops for the reception, but that's about it.
