Daniel Tosh's humor is all about being controversial. I think Tosh.0 is hilarious, but sometimes I definitely cringe. And his stand-up is way worse than the show.

What he said to/about the girls in the audience was beyond the pale, but... I guess all I can say is I wouldn't go to his show. You can't stop him from saying dumb/repulsive shit.

I don't think there are any subjects that are completely off limits for comedy. But I think for any topic, you think about why it's funny. Just because something is shocking or cruel doesn't make it funny. This shit certainly wasn't.

I am, too. Mostly because Tosh is just not funny at all.

And I'm in the camp where either everything is funny or nothing is funny. But it's usually the un-funny comedians who go for this kind of publicity.

I really don't like his type of humor. My H records the show but can only watch them when I'm not around (though we have the same deal for my Dawson's Creek so it's a fair trade). I can't say I've ever come across any rape joke that was funny but this one is especially bad.
