Hello! I'm coming out of lurkdom again. Probably no one really remembers me since I wasn't ever a huge poster, but I feel weird chiming in without saying hi first . I started running regularly when my DD was six months old, so I'm coming up on my 3year runiversary on the 27th of this month. I've run two halfs, several 12ks, and a few smaller races. My running this past summer was super shotty because it was so hot for so long and I quit lurking around these parts. Come late October, I realized I gained 20lbs over summer and had 20 to lose prior to that. November 13, I joined Weight Watchers and have lost 30lbs to date. I'm turning 30 in June and thought what better way to celebrate than run my first full marathon?! So I signed up for the Seattle Rock n Roll marathon on June 21st (two days after my birthday) and am both excited and terrified! Training is going well so far .
This board has always been such a huge source of support, inspiration, and motivation, so I thought I'd start hanging around again!
Welcome! I'm totally not a reg, but I love coming here because everyone is so nice, helpful, and incredibly inspirational! Good luck with your marathon training! It's amazing when you finish!
