i don't know what we're doing..but i think i know what i'm getting. i saw a really cool footprint necklace (http://myforeverchild.com/)..and i linked H to it a few months ago...we couldn't find bjl's footprints for a while (oops!) and he was *really* mad at me about it. i found her footprints a few weeks ago, and i left it on the counter for him. i saw it in his work backpack the next day...so i'm thinking/hoping he brought them to work to scan, etc. i'm pretty excited about it.

Not sure, but J is actually really good at this kind of stuff, so I kind of leave it up to him. Hopefully we'll be in a new home by then (or close to it), so it should be fun.

I'm so torn about this, I kind of hate Mother's Day because it just feels like an obligation, and Hallmark holiday, but now that I actually am a mom I kind of want my H to make a big deal about it. I have no idea if he has anything planned, but would guess not since he is NOT a planner. I'm also mean and don't want to share the day with my mom or MIL.

Idk what to get my mom. Her birthday was easier this week and I don't have a gift for that yet. Though my dad said he he getting her a kayak for her bday when they get back from mounting biking in Moab so I am hoping to get her some sort of kayak accoutrements. If anyone has ideas for mother's day gifts that'd be great.
We will probably bbq or have brunch at my grandparents since they will be just getting home from AZ and will want to see us all.

My FIL is hosting dinner and I'm running a 5k that morning. I asked h for some Seahawks Superbowl stuff and a new blanket. I'm going to get my mom some stuff for the 3 day walk. I just don't know what yet.

I have no clue. I can just hope H will do something with the girls for me. I need to figure out something nice to do for MIL and SMIL. Last year I bought plain flower pots and special paint for them so M could paint them up and then we mailed them off.

I don't have to worry about sharing the day with either of MIL or SMIL since they live a ways away but H isn't great at planning things or figuring out something fun or cute.

No idea what to do for my mom. She is I to walking a lot lately on the treadmill so maybe some gear for that?

I flat out told dh I want a grill for mother's day and I am not sure he realizes that I am completely serious
