I've been training for my first half that is this Saturday. My longest run to date was two weeks ago at 11miles. I did a 12k last Sunday and gave it my all, plus worked overtime, meaning I couldn't squeeze a LR in last week, but clocked about 16miles for the week, which is my norm. Given Mother's day festivities yesterday, we got home too late for me to head out. I don't want to run too far and make my legs tired, but I also feel like another LR would be good for me mentally. It is hot though, so I'm not sure how that will play into tonight's run... I'm running it to finish, no real goal time, just want to make it across the finish line without feeling like I'm going to die. Any advice for what tonight and the rest of my week should look like to prepare? Thanks!
Eeek. Ok. I have some mental work to do for Saturday... I know I'm capable. It's an EASY course. I CAN do it... . Missing my 12mile run last week is throwing me for a loop...
On a side note, anyone know how to make my siggy smaller? It's huge!
