Macy's return policy - coffee maker?

Kind of kid related since that's the reason I NEED coffee.

I bought this super cheap single cup coffee maker at Macy's around Christmas. I used a gift card so no record on my cc statement and I'm sure DH kept the receipt by hahahahahaha I'm not going to take the time to go through the basement to find it. I don't have the box either.

Even though it's a piece of crap, I loved it. Of course it's now broken and when I checked the reviews on amazon, it appears to be a really common issue. Will Macy's exchange it if I just walz in there with it?

I'm tempted to just rebuy the stupid thing at kohls with some old kohls cash otherwise. That way when it quits again in 3 months I know kohls will take it back.

I've had awesome CS from them re: returning crappy products.

We returned basically our entire wedding registry (sheets, towels, duvet) a year later because they'd all fallen apart and they were not cheap. Not only did they fully refund me, they gave me a $300 GC on top of that as an apology.

Awesome, that's what I needed to hear Brie! I just don't have the strength to drag three kids into Macy's if there's a chance they're going to be dicks about it.
