I still relatively new at foam rolling. But I'm trying to be more consistent with it, especially when I'm sore.
So my question is, are you supposed to do it immediately after running vs later after you cool down? Or does it matter? Is more beneficial if you do it right after? When do you do it?
I usually do it later on, once I've cooled down. I tend to get distracted when I get back from running so I don't think to do it until later in the day.

I recently read an article about it, and they recommended foam rolling right before a run and before bed. They said that it releases the muscles to prepare for your activity. I wish I could find it! :::off to look:::
I usually do it at night when I am watching TV right before bed.
I usually do it at night while watching TV. If I had to foam roll immediately after a workout it would never get done. It is hard enough just getting dinner on the table or getting back to my desk after a lunch time run.
