So these are taller and wider than my Beco Gemini? They look kinda the same. And what does conversion mean? Those looked the same as the regulars, but cost more!

What is a semi standard?
DH wore DD a couple weeks ago and she had not been worn in months. I had stopped wearing her after getting pregnant and DH does not wear her as much as i used to. She is 2.5.
I do want to get a toddler carrier and you goys are making a strong case for Tula.
Has anyone tried the Tula woven? The UNO sunburst is gorgeous but I as never much of a wrapper with DD.

The wovens have sold out in like 2 seconds (Uno was released about 2 weeks about and Mockingbird was just released yesterday). I want Elsa or Pyria, but I doubt I'll score one because my internet sucks. All the reviews are awesome though! Sunburst is a linen blend right?

Yes both the standard and the toddler have a bigger seat. This chart shows that the Gemini is 11 inches at the widest and the standard tula is 14.6 and the toddler is 18.9. And the panels are taller as well. theportablebaby.com/carrierfeatures.html

Join the "Tula Love" group on FB. Lots of people post pictures and say what size their kid is. You can also ask for size advice. I personally think standard is what you'll need with those stats.
How old do you think kids get when they stop wanting to be worn. I last word DS in October when we flew (so 2). We won't fly again until he is almost 3, I can't imagine putting him in there at 3. I think I would just here "I want to walk!"
So if you had a toddler carrier, what age is your kid? At 2 DS could still fit in the Ergo (wasn't even close to growing out of it).
A stopped wanting to be worn at about 3.5, but we wore her pretty regularly until then.
I wore her grocery shopping the other day, because she was in a mood. It was the first time in a long time, and we got some really odd looks from people. She is almost 4.5, weighs 44 lbs and is 45 inches tall.
Another question. One of the reasons I'm interested in the Tula is DD2 is a leaner. I am sometimes afraid she is going to lean backward right out of the Ergo. She's small (15.5 lbs or so at 10 months) but pretty strong and definitely persistent. Especially when I am having to bend down to help DD1 with something I worry about her in the Ergo a little bit. The Tula seems like it might be better since it's higher up/offers more coverage than the Ergo.
Do you guys think the standard Tula (she is nowhere near big enough for the toddler one) would help with these issues or is it going to be a problem with any carrier I use?

The Tula has a recline adjustment that most other carriers (or none?) have. I used it with DS today at the grocery store. He was better able to squirm around and look at everything.

I scored one when they stocked a few weeks ago. It's beautiful! And super soft. Let me see if I can grab a picture of it.

The back on the Ergo isn't very high, so it is easy for leaners to lean. Any carrier with a higher back will help with that problem.
You guys suck. Jude is just about 1 year, 23 pounds and 30". How long until he would fit comfortably in the toddler one? I'd hate to have to buy two, and by that I mean H will kill me.
I am emailing the tula people - hopefully they are helpful.
I will let you know what they say about my similar stat child (well minus age)
Let me know too! B is 19 lbs and 32 inches at 10.5 months so I think he'd fit in a toddler soonish unless he stops growing.
If you want to pay shipping + CA sales tax, then sure!
I definitely would! When Tula posts all the release info (they haven't yet? I haven't checked FB), I'll message you. My internet at my house sucks.
Definitely message me. Uno is the only one I'm letting myself buy, so the others are off my radar. I thought about stocking for mockingjay, but totally forgot.

That is awesome! Glad you like it! If I get into wrapping more with the next LO I might try to get one.
I was going to sell my Boba Air and put that money towards a toddler carrier for H, but then I saw this post about emergency babywearing and it's reaffirming my desire to hoard. bwiofpeoria.org
Just gonna leave that there for people who might need a reason to buy a new carrier. (Devil)
Boba Airs are so cheap anyway, I doubt you'd get more than $30-40 for one. And that would barely put a dent in the cost of a toddler carrier.

I like it! Personally, I love really bright WCs though which is why I don't loooooove it.
For the price though, I think you definitely need to love it because there are so many out there that its a guarantee that you will find something you love.
After doing lots of Tula browsing (lol) I much prefer the brighter WC colors and those are muddier. So I like the style and pattern but not the colors.
And I blame you for my first Tula purchase this morning
