Easter is here and I want to know about your favorite and least favorite brand of chocolate. My DH loves Leonidas. We have also tried Hussel chocolate recently and thought it was pretty good. Looking to try new brands.

I know it's not really what you're looking for, because I am so not a chocolate snob. I like Lindt dark truffles or Ghiradelli dark squares (particularly the mint varieties) for widely commercially available chocolate. I know it's flame-worthy here terrible, but I really do prefer Hershey's to Cadbury for milk chocolate. If I'm indulging, Haigh's (an Australian brand) makes excellent dark chocolate treats -- the Dark Chocolate Kokettes and the Dark Peppermint Frogs are my favorite indulgences. But I'm really not above grabbing a bag of semi-sweet or dark baking chips from the grocery and eating a handful when I need a chocolate fix.

Another Lindt fan here! I was introduced to their dark chocolate bar with sea salt and it's heavenly!
I was also introduced to Whitaker's chocolate - which is from New Zealand. It is delicious!
For Easter, my favorite was a local chocolate back in Pittsburgh called Sarris. They always had the best chocolate, and went all out for Easter! I miss them!
Oh I would do anything for a Milka Lu bar. The Ritter version isn't as good. I don't live by the grocery that carries them anymore. Which doesn't matter much because they didn't have it the last time I was there anyway.
For eating it is Green & Black's or Lindt. For cooking, callebaut is gorgeous!
Least favour it is Hershey's or Reese's. Not a pb fan...
dorothyinAus Cadbury in Australia is not the same as in Europe. They have to add something to it over there to prevent it melting on the shelves - tastes horrible compared to European version
I'm happy with Lindt for day to day. Don't like the flavor of UK Cadbury - it's different from the US/Canadian version.
There is a Canadian chocolate company called Purdy's that I absolutely love. My MIL sends us a box of their mixed chocolates plus their peanut butter bars a few times a year.

For everyday eating I choose UK Cadbury - I totally prefer it over the US chocolates (though I am a fan of Ghirardelli a lot). If we're talking fancier, I love Rococo (London).

And, now I want chocolate!!
According to a book I read (The Chocolate Wars) and Wikipedia, US Cadbury is actually made by Hershey's, just marketed under a different name. It a completely different company than the Cadbury in the UK.
I've had US Cadbury, UK Cadbury, and Australian/NZ Cadbury and they are all different, but I still prefer Hershey's for milk chocolate.
And since we're in Easter season, for Easter treats, I really miss Elmer's (a local New Orleans company) Heavenly Hash eggs and Gold Brick Eggs. Gold Brick was one of the original "Magic Shell" type sauces, though you have to heat the jar to melt the sauce before you serve it on ice cream.

My sister ordered some Rococo for Christmas this year. So good!
